Milk Money Kitchen - Fort Lauderdale

I am typically not a fan of breakfast, but I decided to join a couple of friends who are breakfast enthusiasts at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the servers were friendly and funny, and the service was excellent. We tried a couple of recommended shots which were on the sweeter side but still satisfying. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and we had an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. We are excited to come back for lunch or dinner in the future!

My partner ordered the surf and turf ($52), which consisted of a crab cake on top of a filet mignon. He enjoyed every aspect of the dish, including the well-cooked asparagus and the delicious crust on the crab cake. The presentation was also very appealing. I ordered the 'Listen Up Pasta Burrata,' which was decent but nothing special. I opted to substitute the shrimp for steak, expecting a $9.25 upcharge as stated on the menu. However, I was surprised to see that the steak substitution cost $13.25 on our receipt. While the menu did mention $13.25 for other meal substitutions involving steak, it still felt misleading. The quality of the steak was poor, with fatty and stringy strips of skirt steak that were difficult to eat with the pasta. Despite the pricing issue, the service was prompt even during the lunch rush. The parking lot was small and cramped, making it challenging to find a spot during busy times. The restaurant's dishes were beautifully presented, and the menu featured some unique options. However, with a bill of nearly $200 for 3 cocktails and 2 dinners, we felt that there were better dining choices at this price point. In terms of vegetarian options, there appeared to be a decent selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes available. The limited parking spots and high prices were drawbacks that would deter us from returning to this restaurant.

My first visit to Milk Money was to celebrate my birthday in July. The ambiance was visually appealing, but unfortunately, the restaurant was quite warm as the A/C seemed to be out of order. Despite this inconvenience, the manager was apologetic and had fans strategically placed throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and recommended excellent dishes, and the food was amazing. Although I expected a birthday dessert as compensation for the temperature issue, it did not affect our overall positive experience. Our waitress even offered to take a group photo at the end of our meal, which was a nice gesture. I plan to return to Milk Money in the future, hopefully with the A/C working properly next time.

Had a great experience with service, food and specials.Server was very attentive, brought our pups water on the patio and told us about the specials (half off bottles of wine got the Cab Sav Simi and I was a fan).Got the pasta meatballs and it was great! Very big portions.

First time eating at this establishment. I’m going to assume the air conditioning was broken because it was REALLY hot. I will say they did have a lot of fans in place to try to rectify the situation so I did appreciate that because what can you do in the meantime until the a.c is fixed?As for the food? Absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the honey glazed salmon and the sweet potato purée was EXCEPTIONAL to say the least. A friend who was also dining with me loved her miso soup and dessert and raved about it.I would come back and support this business again as long as there is A.C next time. The service and food was spectacular.
