Gatsby's Joint - Fort Lauderdale

Enjoyed it . Fun place . Hot burlesque! Sever was solid. Ambience was good. Lights need to be a little bit dimmer.

We booked based on the dinner show to hear jazz singer Anastasia Sky. However, the show was changed to a Burlesque show, which is not what we were expecting for. The venue should have made it known upon booking the type of show. I spoke with the manager and he apologized it was not communicated well on their website. Our group was not really interested in trying to have dinner while women stripped. I saw several other guest that brough family members feeling uncomfortable due to the event change for New Year's eve. However, our group made the best of it and chaulked it up to crazy 2020 year! Location is in older strip mall. Call before you book to verify the entertainment. It is a small place so the announcer is very loud and difficult to have a dinner converstation or communicate with the servers.

Never let’s us down, on Wednesday they have open mike comedy show, great atmosphere, great food, great service and great drinks by Matteo !

The owner Steve paid attention to detail. Shows start around 8:00 pm not at 6:30 pm per website. Victor Vazquez the musician was fantastic. He started playing at 8:00 pm non stop until 10:50 pm. One song was better than the other.

Everything works in this place, food, entertainment and service!!
