Bidra med feedbackWe should up 15 minutes before our reservation for valentine's day and realized it was going to be an hour wait or so before we and others who also made a reservation were seated. We left after a 30 minute wait and just a sorry from the hostess who was trying her best. The manager should have been there and gave out a promotion such as a free meal for the problem they were facing.
Our dining experience was excellent! The food was outstanding and the service very good. The price was wonderful, too only $45 for dinner for 2. As we were there early, it was happy hour and the wine was only $4 per glass. A memorable experience. We would recommend Romano's Macaroni Grill anytime! It did get very busy and noisy by the time we left but it was Valentine's Day and the place was packed.
The food is not particular good for the price. The service is all right.
Went New Year 's Eve a 6:30 Reservation confirmed on OpenTable. They were busy, however we arrived at 6:08. The MANAGER took our name, explained they were working on tables, that we may be a little behind. At 6:30 we were sitting in the bar and noticed SEVERAL tables (2 and 4 tops) were vacant. I caught his attention and he said yes she was clearing the table for us . 15 minutes elapsed and no word. I went to the front desk and spoke with the HOSTESSS, she looked at our reservation, apologized and PROMPTLY sat us at a booth. So ZERO marks for greeting and sitting us for our reservation; but wait it doesn 't stop there. Knowing it was busy, accepted our server was a bit frazzled....No problem. He was courteous. We knew exactly what we wanted: 2 glasses house red, Caesar salad, lamb special, ice water. Breads and salad were brought fairly quickly.....HOWEVER 20 MINUTES AFTER SUBMITTING our ORDER he came back to tell us out of the lamb special ....TWENTY MINUTES AFTER SUBMITTING THE ORDER! INEXCUSABLE. They should have know as SOON AS THE ORDER WAS SUBMITTED there would not be sufficient lamb to meet to the order!... The substitute manager from the Westminster location came by once she heard the issue and took our substitute order. We mentioned that NEVER had we EVER experienced a 20 minute delay AFTER the order was submitted to be told they were OUT. We expressed our dissatisfaction, politely but firmly. We then noticed she went over to the manager (remember, he was the man that never took our reservation seriously and never seated us), and evidently HE granted her the OK to comp the entire meal (except the wine). The food was OK , nothing like other non-special occasion evenings (we had been to the same restaurant twice in 6 weeks prior this evening and had wonderful service, prompt seating, and a pleasant meal). We tipped the server the full 20+ based on the original price of the entire meal. He (manager NEVER apologized)! The manager gets 0
My wife and I had an amazingly quiet New Year's Eve dinner. I booked our reservation on-line and the check-in process was seamless. We enjoyed multiple appetizers and beverages from the Happy Hour menu. The salmon that I had was by far one of the best salmon fillets that I have had here in Colorado. Oh, and two bowls of Lobster Bisque... YUM!!! Our server for this beautiful evening was Joseph, and he was great! I highly recommend Romano's Macaroni Grill, Fort Collins.
