Panhandler's Pizza Fort Collins, Co

This should be a 4 or 5 star review, because the quality of the ingredients and heft of the pizza itself seemed to be well worth the $40+ cost of a deluxe pizza. What makes it a 3 star review is the safety of the food and the response from the restaurant. This was my first time eating at Panhandlers, after having come highly recommended from a friend. The pizza dough was significantly undercooked, which was disappointing to discover. I reached out to Panhandlers the day after I picked it up and the supervisor I spoke with told me I’d hear back from them within a day or so. I heard back from them and they took care of me. She apologized for the disappointment and explained how this is uncommon, but can happen during busy times, which is understandable. After that, now I’m excited to give them another try! Will update.

EDIT: I did recieve a refund and someone reached out to remedy this. Very happy with how this was handled and we look forward to eating more pizza! Great pizza! We absolutely love going here. However, the last time we ordered a pizza and paid extra for chicken, the chicken was so dried out and hard it was inedible. I reached out via email to the store but never heard back : . We paid 30 dollars for a small and would have liked to at least get a refund for the crouton-like chicken that we paid extra for.

This restaurant is a fort collins original and despite shutting down entirely once and nearly bombing during the covid epidemic it's still around! Some of the best deep pan pizza in town tastes like a slice of childhood better then pizza hut. Get a slice of a fort collins original ^ ^

Best pizza I've ever had. The sauce is incredible, so flavorful and rich. The crust is crunchy on the edge, chewy in the middle and thick enough to hold and the sauce and toppings.
