Lima Coffee Roasters Old Town Coffee Shop

I've been frequenting many coffee houses in the area for a while, but few have matched that vibe and welcome feeling I had at the Wild Boar (RIP.. Lima's meets that and then some, though. I've felt very welcomed here by the awesome staff from my first time here. You see the staff often chatting with customers and visa versa and that lends well to the atmosphere. The manager, Sidney (Do NOT call her CINDY unless you are feeling very brave , is a delight. She's funny, pretty goofy, and kind, but be prepared to look past some very very wrong opinions on who the best character in Harry Potter is.. Her staff clearly enjoys working with her and it's great to see. Additionally, Sam is an excellent barista, also very kind and funny, and the synergy between the team makes every visit a lot of fun!

I ordered a pour over coffee and literally watched the barista fill a third of the cup with drip brewed coffee. I get that some people may not be able to distinguish the difference between these brewing modes but a well-made cup of pour over coffee has a very different mouth feel and flavor profile compared to a drip brew coffee and the price of each reflects the level of skill and time required to process coffee in these unique ways. This is not an acceptable practice for a cafe that I have previously had very positive experiences with and certainly left a bad taste (physically and metaphorically) in my mouth.

Absolutely love this place. One of the best coffee and food options in old town. Service is very friendly and ambience unbeatable.

The staff is always amazing and super friendly. I would mention who, but everyone has been lovely — from greeting you with a smile, making great drinks, to genuinely asking about your day and conversing — a solid recommendation for a coffee shop!The atmosphere of the place is everything you would need in a coffee shop. I've been here to read, work, have meetings, or simply go in to get a coffee to go, and I've always had a good experience.
