Tran Tran - Forest Lake

My friend and I ordered DIY rice paper rolls and some entrees to share. 20 mins later when we had almost finished our entree we were told they had run out of rice paper. They left a menu to choose something else my friend then ordered satay chicken skewers once again they didn’t have any so we asked what they did have. Having gone to this restaurant to specifically try the rice paper rolls. I got the cashew chicken this was the most tasteless dish I’ve ever eaten. We were offered complimentary soft drinks for the problems then charged for them on the bill. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely delicious, fresh , full of flavour . We had the Vietnamese Salad , just beautiful, an explosion of fresh flavours , and the Shanghai Noodles which were just as great . We ordered a coconut rice also and so much food we took some home . The waiter was very friendly and helpful and the owner checked that we were enjoying our meals . When we mentioned it was Alan’s birthday she said his meal was free as is their policy . How generous. Definitely be going back soon .

Had the all day breaky(not sure of veit name) and Pho both were very good have gone back again for the same.

The meals in this restaurant a very yummy if eaten there but the food seems to take on a different flavour when taken away. Recommend to always eat in the restaurant.
