Bidra med feedbackThe staff here isn't too friendly. Also My order was wrong but I ate it anyway... Nonetheless it was a decent little meal. Not sure if I will be back
During this current pandemic it is important to have safe protocols in place, especially when serving food. I was disappointed to see that not all staff was wearing masks and some were not wearing their masks properly. I have been coming here for years and this was the first that I returned since the pandemic began. I was not comfortable dining here.
I don 't like leaving negative reviews but this was just ridiculous. I ordered an ubereats order and when it got here my food was COMPLETELY cold. Put my finger in the burrito bowl; cold from bottom to top. Hell, the cheese on top wasn 't even the slightest bit melted. The hot tamale dip; cold as well. Why am I actually upset and am leaving a review? Well bud, I LITERALLY live less than 10 blocks away from this location and the order only took 15 or so minutes to arrive. Here 's my advice; don 't order from here unless you 're going there in person. I gave them 2 stars instead of one because their food usually isn 't that bad, but out of my recent 5 orders... Two have been decent; 2 taste-wise were eh; but this last one was a swan dive into failure.
I came in to get take out couple of days ago and ordered beef taquitos, chicken quesadilla, and chicken pastor tacos, and a Jamaica aqua Fresca. The drink was good. We didn't start our food until we got home and opened our food. I opened the pico de Gallo that came on the side of my tacos and immediately commented on how surprisingly warm it was. Then, as I proceed to open up my chicken pastor tacos from the foil, I smelled the strongest of wine scents. I knew it was the pineapples that had probably gone bad and did not eat it. I passed it off since my boyfriend felt it wasn't a bad taste and he could stomach it. (Although he later commented that his stomach was griping in the night afterwards) 2 dats later, my card was updated with a gratuity charge that I did not authorize. I remember distinctively putting 0 tip on the iPad, and proceeded to put cash in the tip jar. So when I saw this charge, I came to the restaurant to question everything. Ultimately the management barely refunded my over paid tip, and every employee we spoke with over the 2 days said that there is no wine or alcohol used to prepare any of the menu items. The manager didn't seem to care at all that I had this problem with the pineapples and are clearly running things out of official health codes. I would not recommend eating anything from this location and hope they get shut down for not storing foods at the correct temperatures and having people who barely understand English taking orders.
I Have celiac and read some decent reviews about the staff having knowledge . I walk in and asked do you have any gluten free items I read your tacos are but I just wanted to make sure Anna response no we don't do any of that . Extremely disappointed, no allergy knowledge and they don't even speak English.
