Food is some of the best around and unique. Drinks are made proper. Outside patio is key, they have a cool lounge area too.

The food was okay at its best. I ordered carry out and certain items were decent like the spinach dip in the tortilla bowl and the bread pudding but others were a total miss like my daughter's mac and cheese was super bland. My chicken wasn't bad but for the cost I was better off getting some from Popeyes on a good day. The most frustrating part was that our sides were basically totally wrong. I ordered French Onion soup and ended up with chicken noodle or something like it. My daughter's side of broccoli was nowhere to be found and there was a random side of tortilla chips that I'm still not sure exactly what they since the dip appetizer only had enough for the tortilla bowl. Possibly for my incorrect soup? We're only in town for a couple of days. My wife also said her salad was just sort of thrown together haphazardly and tasted just kind of okay. I would recommend looking elsewhere if other options are available. If the restaurant is reading this I would like some compensation for how incorrect and mediocre most of our food was. Reply to the restaurant: Oof okay to your reply because here's my version of events. I was never told this information because I didn't pick up the food. My father did. He may have forgotten but he never mentioned that he was told anything like that regarding the soup. I'm pretty sure my phone number was available when I placed the order so I don't even understand why telling someone that information as they pick up their food when you could have called them and explained. I mean I wouldn't have gotten that soup had I known. Okay on the salad and tortilla chips explanations I guess. My daughter's mac and cheese just wasn't good. It was super bland and no one wanted it. The broccoli was nowhere to be found either so I guess that's a mystery but we searched all the bags. Now it is possible my father left it and forgot it in his car so who knows. It was just a pretty bad first impression. These explanations just come across more like defensive excuses when you have a legitimately dissatisfied customer who only required his food to be accurate and taste good overall. You guys just didn't measure up

Wonderful road trip to Kathy's in Flushing. Great service and best lake perch I've ever had excellent. Make sure to take a walk down to the river too. Parking lot in back.

A cozy small-town diner with an older-fashioned that has a small menu packed with excellent hand-made food. Gluten free and vegan options available! Their wait service is rather slow, and is bogged down to near unavailable at peak hours, but the quality and flavors of the food usually makes up for this. Vegetarian options: Some dishes are marked as Vegan Dietary restrictions: Some dishes are labelled as Gluten Free, though there are very few of them Parking: Located behind the restaurant and some other businesses, but the lot is huge so you shouldn't have difficulty finding an open spot even during peak hours.

They have two vegan options, which is nice. Food was fine, not much flavor or anything. Good price for the portions, though
