Blue Ridge - Floyd

My mom and I ate lunch there this week and I am happy to say it is under new management. It is a lot like the way the old Blue Ridge Restaurant used to be. The food was southern homestyle, very good, excellent prices and excellent service. I plan on going back again in the near future with my wife for dinner. I am very happy that they are back to what they used to be.

I want to start off by saying we've eaten in this place in the past and the food was good and services as well but today not only did the restaurant get remodeled but they also have gotten people in there who don't care about the business. We waited for an hour and a half for pancakes and eggs and was told part of our order was no longer being made for the morning. The waitresses didn't seem to care and we weren't the only table there today that had to wait at least an hour for food and was told item had ran out or items were cold or items were wrong. I think management should definitely take a closer look at how the waitresses handle the issue of when the kitchen is out of product. No type of discount offer or given. It was the biggest waste of $30 for breakfast. We only ordered 2 adult meals and one kid meal.

Best breakfast ever !
