If you're going to eat anywhere in Old Town, make it be here!! Delicious food! Great service! Lots of options! The Garlic fries were perfect!!!

We had a late lunch after doing the dune ATV rides. Tired and hungry. We had orderd Pasta , Burger and Club Sandwich . Portions were huge and we had to box the food and use it for dinner. Food was delicious and service excellent.

For 3 weeks we asked everyone we met to tell us where to get the best clam chowder. Everybody has a different answer. So we had a lot of chowder. There final people we asked (Jack and Diane) who we're camping across from us and had lived in the area for 50+ years told us to try the Firehouse. We almost didn't go because we were pretty chowdered out.. ..but, we were glad we did. It was easy to see why the Firehouse has won so many best chowder awards. They are cheating a little with the Deluxe but everyone should try it. By cheating I mean, it's hard to lose when you put in so many great ingredients.

We split an order of fish and chips. I also added a cup of clam chowder. All was delicious. The clam chowder was much better than the famous place down the street.

The service was friendly, but our food took a long time to arrive. This isn't the best spot if you're in a hurry. The deluxe clam chowder was excellent, and the garlic fries were delicious. The tri-tip sandwich was average. Be prepared for large portion sizes here!
