Bidra med feedbackBeautiful place was very peaceful when we went, but that was time of the year, I guess. lots of parking space, there was also a caffe, but we didn't dare inside as we had dogs with us who loved it there too
Have been here a couple of times with my dog. The circular walk around the lake is great (around 13miles) with some beautiful views. Be mindful of the algae in the lake as they can be very poisonous to your dog (should they drink from the water in the lake). Refer to the notices around for more information. Would be great if the friendly service in the cafe was matched with a better offering of refreshments.
Rented a boat with my friend. Wasn't expensive. We didn't catch any fish but the experience to boating around that beautiful huge lake is priceless!
I have a couple of dinghies there and it a great place to sail. Family membership is reasonable and boat storage is fairly priced.
This is a beautiful place to spend quality time with family and friends. It's very spacious and offers stunning views all around. There is also ample parking available, and the £6 fee for the entire day is quite reasonable compared to other locations. Additionally, there are attractions like bike rentals and an aquapark on-site. Riding a bike along the dam trail through the forest is an amazing experience. While barbecuing is not permitted at the location, that doesn't deter visitors, as they can enjoy high-quality family time with plenty of physical activities while appreciating the natural beauty. The journey to the venue is delightful as well, thanks to its lovely location in Kent.
