Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Fleming Island

I always visit Tropical Smoothie in Fleming Island! The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. During our most recent visit, we met the new manager, who was exceptionally nice and provided great direction to the team. Our smoothies were delicious—I had the Paradise Point, and my husband tried the Sunrise Sunset. Both had fantastic flavors and are definitely our favorites! However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the Chipotle chicken sandwich, but it was still quite good overall. Definitely worth a visit!

She then mentioned something about a power outage and claimed they never received my order. I understand that happens, but instead of making my smoothie or assisting me, she insisted I would have to pay for it again. I tried to show her the transaction history on my Marine Federal app, which clearly indicated that I had already paid, but she wouldn’t even look at my phone. Instead of helping, she simply said there was nothing she could do, and I would have to pay a second time! I felt so embarrassed, and I hadn’t done anything wrong! I just wanted my smoothie! Instead, I was met with rudeness and left without the drink I had paid for. She didn’t make any effort to resolve the situation, and I ended up feeling like I had to leave before things escalated over a silly smoothie! Everyone can have a bad day, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. If she had just made me the smoothie I had already paid for, it would have been a completely different story. I’m really disappointed because I used to love this place, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.

The quesadilla I ordered had barely any chicken in it, and they didn't include tomatoes or white queso sauce as it should have. I would consider this a total waste of money.

The staff is excellent! They are always very helpful and polite especially Alyssa. Every time I get in, she always asks me if I get me? It is always a great experience that comes to this place.

Cashier who worked Tuesday late morning was so nice, she helped me remember what smoothie it is I normally order. I could not remember the name of it and she took her time to figure out which one it was. Great quick and friendly service ?
