Bidra med feedbackWe spent a morning in Fiumicino before an afternoon flight from the airport... and swam in the sea near Neri Village and then ate a delicious lunch of scallop starter, excellent sea bass with mediterranean vegetables and potato, and we shared a dessert, followed by coffee. with thee glasses of house wine a wonderful Falanghina we paid 54 Euros. We had told the owners repeatedly that we needed a taxi for 3pm and they kept saying no problem. We thought they had ordered one for us but at 3pm no taxi so then they did or tried to. Confusion reigned which spoilt our end of holiday lunch ... in the end a taxi turned up at 3.40 but only after the owner intervened and we then had to rush to pick up cases at left luggage and dash through security. So really excellent meal spoilt by lack of customer care... first restaurant I've ever known not to be able to get a taxi when asked well in advance.
I really did enjoy the meals, we ate at Neri several times during the week we spent at the hotel nearby. The staff was very kind, we felt at home. I really recommend this lovely place by the sea! Romantic and human prices. Good food,nice atmosphere and human prices. Affordable, enjoyable, delicious!
Giammarco Was a fantastic server. Very funny and recommended great things on the menu. Highly recommend getting the mussels!!!! The tiramisu was also incredible!!! I’ll be back!
Wonderful food, polite stuff, especially Marco, the funniest and communicable waiter. I recommend this place.
We needed to stay close to Fiumicino Airport for an early morning departure. This beachfront restaurant in the busy Isola Sacra seaside resort of Fiumicino gave us an unexpectedly wonderful experience. The restaurant recently changed owners and the new management is committed to building its reputation through excellent service and the unparalleled fresh seafood that comes off the Roman fishing fleet twice a day (the fishing boats boats dock in the Tiber entrance just two blocks away, but surprisingly few local restaurants take advantage of the uber fresh seafood on the doorstep). All the servers were motivated and helpful. In particular, Giammarco, who spent 10 years living In London, was an excellent guide in English to the wine and food on offer. We chose the tasting menu, which gave a great range of delicious, well-balanced and beautifully presented dishes as the sun set and waves splashed on the beach just outside the patio area. It was a fabulous way to end our trip!
