Moved to area and thought we found our favourite local. Attended a few times for linch. Great atmosphere and good meals and friendly. Shared positive experience on facebook with friends. Was impressed. After raving to him decided to take my father in law for a feed. Didn’t book and was Sunday so took a punt anyway. Arrived well dressed, completely sober, polite. Asked if any tables for food. All booked. Fine. Completely understandable. We politely said ok thanks anyway. Said okay and ordered a couple of drinks. Got a flat no. No apology. Place was busy enough but not capacity busy. May as well have asked us to leave. Racked our brains to understand. Sent message of complaint. Generic reply, so didn’t read or didn’t care. So two stars for establishment. Service not so much. Disappointed as place is nice.

Always a great atmosphere! All staff are very friendly and welcoming. Weekends are usually busy, so book a table.

Great country pub very spacious with heaps of games and activities for kids of all ages. Service is exceptional and staff always friendly. Meal prices and sizes are excellent. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
