We have been passing this location for months each time we travel to the area to visit my wife 's parents. Unfortunately, I have missed them being open until today, Sunday, August 1, 2021. I happened to see their open sign lit up in the front window as I pulled into the shopping center next door and so I quickly drove out and decided to give it a try, instead of going into Holiday Foods to buy groceries to prepare. I went with the Chicken Family Meal which offered two smoked, whole chickens with two 16 oz. sides. The meal is stated to serve 4 people and was $33.00 plus tax. Making my total bill $35.31 The chicken was perfectly smoked. Very tender and juicy and fully done with a mild, light smoked flavor. We had the potato salad and baked beans as sides and both were very tasty and delishous. I took the food back to the in-laws home but the inside of the restaurant was very clean. The service was super friendly and nice. I asked about the preparation of some of their BBQ items and the young gentleman helping behind the counter offered answers and explanations to all my questions. I do need to comment on the BBQ sauce that came with our chickens. It is a mild sauce with an excellent taste. It is not super sweet and not spicy hot. Excellent sauce and I am generally very picky on sauces as I make my own when I smoke meat at home. I consider myself to be an expert Pitmaster and I pride myself on the meats I smoke over hickory. These great folks at Homestead BBQ have managed to impress me! I would highly recommend you give them a taste when you are in the local area or headed down Interstate 64 and looking for a good, reasonably priced meal served by awesome people who value your business.

We are from out of town and I am so glad we saw this place! Trust me, get the pulled pork!!! You won’t be disappointed!! Great staff and very fast serve too!! Definitely going back next time we are close by!

We stopped here because we're visiting Holiday World this week and were very satisfied with the pulled pork family dinner. Delicious food and friendly workers!

Had the ribs tonight and they were delicious will definitely order again!

Our company comes here every Thursday it's one of the best barbecue places around highly recommend it
