Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant has a fantastic concept and a menu that constantly evolves. I absolutely adore the atmosphere and the food; it's a perfect place for a date, hanging out with friends, or enjoying a night out with a group. I especially loved the burrata paired with the bread, and the pet nat available by the glass was a delightful addition.
Here are some standout dishes: • Pasta No.1: This dish features garlic, nori, and sake-cured egg yolk, and it was my favorite! I loved the creamy, silky texture of the pasta. • Glass Okra: Coated in a light batter and sprinkled with togarashi and Kewpie mayo, I couldn't stop eating this delicious okra! • Izy Miso Lobster: A must-try as well!
We tried the kingfish cannoli, umami bread, burrata with smoked grapes, brussels sprouts in XO sauce, and the pasta #1. Each dish was outstanding—a true rarity. The portion sizes aren't large, so I'd suggest ordering 4 to 5 dishes to share between two people.
A newish restaurant (I think) and is humming along smoothly. It is not traditional Japanese, more Japanese-inspired; we ordered a small number of dishes and all were good. A kingfish sushimi lightly marinated, wagyu beef on the medium to rare side, firm and delicious Brussels sprouts and brown rice. A couple of delicious cocktails and a lovely bottle of pino grigio. A small menu but everything hit the spot. We ordered both desserts; tiramasu and figs with cheese.
Super sleek hidden restaurant off Queen Street, behind a casual Poke/sushi Takeaway area. Great idea and nicely executed the food was beautifully presented and delicious. More bar/snack type food than full restaurant dinner meal but overall worth checking out. The smell of the room with the burning wood/coals was amazing.
