Bidra med feedbackDuring my first visit, I tried the marinated char-grilled lamb rump served with mashed potatoes and salsa verde. My friends wished they had ordered it too when they saw how it looked. It was perfectly cooked. On my second visit, after much deliberation, I chose the lamb pot pie with mashed potatoes and peas (see photo). I'm not usually a fan of peas, but they weren't mixed in, so I simply set them aside. The pot pie was the star of the meal—generously portioned and absolutely delicious. The pastry was flaky, and the lamb was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were fantastic as well. I’ll definitely return, as it's a solid all-around pub. I’m giving it 4 stars since I haven't explored the bar yet, but I did notice they had a nice selection of beers on tap as well as a good range of spirits and wines.
The decor is fresh and clean, creating a lovely new atmosphere in the area. The food is absolutely amazing! We chose four entrees and a salad to share among three of us, which was a fantastic way to sample a variety of their offerings. I will definitely be returning for more of the delicious food!
I've visited this place several times since its reopening, and I find it to be a pleasant and straightforward spot for a casual meal. The food is truly undervalued—kudos to the chefs and kitchen staff! The beer selection on tap is excellent, and there's ample space both indoors and in the outdoor beer garden.
The Botany Bay Hotel had a great school holiday program. we attended the slime making workshop and the disco on Friday night. all the kids and parents who attended had an awesome time. The kids menu is great too. Highly recommend this venue.
Fantastic food, everything was delicious! The starter dishes are perfect for sharing! We ordered four dishes and garlic bread between two. The Kingfish Tacos and Mushroom Arancini with Truffle Mayo were incredible. I can’t wait to go back.
