Little Joey's Pizza Italian

We went out for Chinese food, but they were closed so we thought we try the pizza at little Joey's. Everyone was telling me how great little Joey's pizza was and how close it was to NY style pizza. I don't know what part of NY these people where from, but the pizza there at little Joey's was so-so to Florida average pizza. I get my pizza from 2 other places, and they would put little Joey's to shame. The pizza dough was tough and over cooked even though when we looked inside it looked like we may have found a place closer. Nope! I rather drive further for much better pizza then to eat there again. I rate little Joey's pizza to Dominos, Papa John's and Marco's. Just a fast-food type of average pizza that isn't worth my time and money. Try either Sammy's or Pronto's pizza you won't regret it.

I've been going to Little Joey's since around 2004.. In 2010, I moved to GA, then AL, and anytime we go to Florida, a must stop is Little Joey's! We have visited many Italian restaurants from the east coast to the west coast and not one has compared to Little Joey's! I always call a day or two ahead so Vicky can have a gallon of house dressing ready for us to take home. Vicky has always been an awesome waitress and it's like seeing an old friend when we walk in the doors:

The worst! Meatball sub had no Italian sauce. The chicken Alfredo had no Alfredo sauce. I would post pictures but I don't have that option

Good meatlovers pizza, the garlic bread is good as well.
