When we go to dinner outside we are ready to turn into judges of some tv program and elage stars for service, location, menu and everything. but how much it is worth to feel at home at 1000 km away from it? Yes, perhaps the service could be better (although from the booking call there were well accepted, not graced by the guest's benevolence, as it happens sometimes), perhaps elsewhere the food is higher level, perhaps. Maybe. Maybe we have to learn to trust the feelings that a place, a reception, a dinner leave us inside and to us this dinner left the warm heart!

A lovely place, ask for raw fish they will offer only the last boat catch, i came here for several days and each time they tried to Cook the best the had in the kitchen. I suggest to order a good wine it worth the great food you will enjoy

We had two amazing dinners at il giardino delle aloe two years ago. Now we are back in Favignana and of course we booked a table thinking it would be another great experience. Wrong ! The driver that the agriturismo sent to pick us up was very nice and during our very short drive he mentioned that the restaurant has a new owner and a new chef..... This doesn 't sound like good news but you never know. Well, we were right... That was not good news. From the moment we sat down it was just downhill. Service was kind of non existing, the pastas we ordered were way over cooked how can you over cook pasta in Italy ? . The scaloppine were fatty and one Fritto di paranza fried small fish with, according to the waiter, some calamaris was nothing like it was described. We barely touched our food. In a word : a MESS ! I guess this is a good lesson, always double check if the restaurant you loved is still run by the same people. The driver took us back to our rented home and did not ask how our dinner was, I think he already knew..... Avoid at all costs. PS compared to two years ago the menu is definitely cheaper dinner for two with a bottle of wine is now € 65 but we would rather pay more and actually have a good dinner.....

The food was excellent! Staff extremely friendly! And kids could run around in the garden which made the whole experience very enjoyable for all. We loved it so much, we ate there for 3 dinners over a 14-day stay.
