Antonio's - Fareham

Enjoyed our evening at Antonio's but a bit disappointed with the Menu and non availability of some items. If I was to be critical there are 2 many different menus and reading them off a chalk board in a dimly lit area is difficult and makes it hard to make your choices especially when they are mounted on the wall next to someone else's table. Nice atmosphere and service was excellent. Will give them another try in the new year.

We started with a few tapas, patatas brava, could have been a little spicier for me and the patatas a little crisper. Gambas al ajillo and champiniones al ajillo and despite my earlier comments it was all excellent. Mains of whole Dorada(bream) and hake fillets, both cooked to perfection, with fresh vegetables perfectly cooked for me. We had a carajillo to finish. Service and atmosphere superb. Worthy of my rating.

The service at this restaurant in July 2023 was excellent. It was our first time there and we plan on making it our regular spot now. We were well taken care of and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was unique and the dishes were delightful. My partner is in a wheelchair and the assistance they received entering on the ramp was greatly appreciated. Tony, the owner, made our experience personal and unforgettable.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant from start to finish. The service from making our reservation, to being greeted at the door and throughout our meal was attentive and much appreciated by our group. The food was excellent, with three of us opting for double fish courses due to the wide and tempting selection available. The vegetarian options were also varied, and Toni was more than willing to modify them to suit my wife's preferences without any hesitation. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Our friend from London came to visit us for the weekend, and we decided to try out Antonio's for a unique dining experience. As always, Antonio's did not disappoint! We received a warm welcome, engaged in pleasant conversation, and enjoyed delicious food. Dining at Antonio's is always a memorable experience, and our friend was equally impressed. We highly recommend trying the house Sauvignon blanc as well!
