The Bear's Den - Falls

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and received friendly greetings. Service was quick and food delicious. The décor is uniquely 'bear' and features some local art. Family owned.

Good service, good food, a place to eat, not to enjoy a fine dining experience. Have stopped here several times, food was always good & reasonably priced

Got a big man's hunger? $7.95 gets you 2 eggs, 2 toast, 4 sausage links and a large helping of pan fried potatoes. Add a bottomless cup of coffee and taxes and for $10.60 all in you've had one heck of a good meal. Just like the breakfasts Dad made before we went out to cut pulpwood. Eggs over easy done perfectly. Sausages freshly fried, not reheated and wrinkled. Potatoes firm and fried just right, not re-fried again and again until they're like little lumps of coal. And great coffee. You don't have to ask for a refill. The server makes regular rounds, topping up your cup. And if you're really hungry, go for the Grizzly breakfast. Good luck finishing it and then trying to get into your boat!

Stopped on our way back from Kenora, remembered it as having good food. Attached are pics of the food, very good, worth the 15 minute wait from sit down to receiving. This isnt fast food by any means, but it is good food. Try the Bears Den Breakfast Special. Interestingly Enough, it is attached to a large grocery store with 7 isles of groceries. Great place to stop to eat and stock up.
