Bidra med feedbackMy first visit to this restaurant in a few years turned out to be my last. The ambiance and music were lovely, but the food and temperature left much to be desired. The Caprese salad starter was disappointing, with cold and firm mozzarella and a lack of basil. The Rigatoni Toscana main course was described as pasta with sausage, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and cream, but was actually a watery cream sauce with few mushrooms and no sign of sausage. Despite my complaint, the offer for a redo with more sausage was declined. The garlic and rosemary focaccia also started off well but became tough as it cooled. The lack of heating in the restaurant even forced the musician to put on his jacket. The cold temperature even extended to the restroom with icy cold water. Despite being only charged for one dish, I would have gladly paid full price for a satisfying meal.
This restaurant offers delightful fresh food, excellent service, affordable prices, and live music. Their homemade desserts are top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely return in the future.
Miserable staff, average food. Not really much more to say. A place I have enjoyed in the past with my mother and family. Sadly this visit we be our last, but I can’t imagine the staff will be losing any sleep over that.
Hadn’t visited for a while but had always enjoyed it so we were really looking forward to our meal. We were a few minutes late but the table wasn’t ready anyway and we ended up being shown to our table 20 minutes after the booked time with next to no apology. No one came near us for around 10 15 minutes to take a drink or food order and we were contemplating leaving at that point anyway because there was next to no vegetarian choice on the menu I was told that they were in the process of upgrading their menu but that I could have any meaty pasta dish minus the meat! The food when it came was fairly bland. The garlic bread didn’t arrive at all and was unceremoniously dumped on the table with no apology about 5 10 minutes later. There was no salt or pepper on the table so we had to wait until a waitress came near to ask for them. No flowers in bud vases/candles on the tables either, or drinks lists. Just napkins and cutlery! That might seem petty but table decor is a normal part of a nice dining experience in my opinion. For around 15 minutes after finishing our meal no one came near to clear away our plates. Eventually a waitress walking past asked if we’d “like them taken away” like she was doing us a favour. We asked her for a dessert menu and she brought it over then did not return to see if we wanted anything. We waited another 10 15 minutes then gave up and had to get someone’s attention to ask for the bill. We complained about the poor service and were given 10% off the bill but that will not persuade us to return. In their defence it was a busy Saturday night but by the time we were waiting to have our sweet order taken the place had quietened down a bit and we observed staff standing around chatting, and one staff member looking at his phone. Probably our most disappointing dining experience in a long time.
On you arrive, there is not bady look like you are arrive on the restourant,there are more interesting to smoke the cigarette or stay on the phone, ..the toilet dirty and baby chairs evrywhere,,like not bady realy care, but the best is the food….it’s look old 70^ with the old cra….mpy chef on the kitchen…we order same salmone and pollo funghi , absolutely disgusting…look like pre cooking and re eat on the macreway..but as usualy no bady around to complain or ask more drink cuz all ov them there are busy on the phone in the bar.. well done guys..but before I finisch up … remember as a customer Never Ever leave the tips here …cuz they get stell from the manager and shere with the cra…mpy chef in the kitchen.. and the coins thei get leave for the rest of the young girls….Discusting… Learne the way to leave and then all of you can start to ran a restourant…..
