Bidra med feedbackThis place is a hidden gem I wish I had found earlier. such friendly staff, nice eating and a good choice of cake. also very dog friendly. great for before or after a venture one of the many cycle paths/walks down. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
First visit today for breakfast. We had a big breakfast and Stornaway stack. Both were fantastic!! Food was fresh, hot and tasty and the tea and cake afterwards did not disappoint. Service was quick and attentive but not intrusive and it was a really nice touch from the staff to put a wee candle in my partner’s cake as I mentioned it was his birthday when I booked. Thoroughly enjoyed and we will be back to try lunch, dinner and probably breakfast again
Charming little gem with a lovely atmosphere. It features beautiful walking paths and safe bike routes. The café offers delicious cooked meals, cakes, and coffee. There is one gluten-free dessert option, but it's quite tasty. The staff is friendly, and the furnishings are modern. Plus, it's dog-friendly!
We arrived with some friends after spending a few nights camping and were in search of breakfast. We didn’t realize we needed a reservation, as the place is quite popular; we only checked to see if it was open. While we were trying to decide what to do, the waitress kindly offered us a table outside in the garden. This worked perfectly, and it was just as enjoyable as dining inside. The food was excellent, and the coffee was fantastic. A huge thanks to the staff for going the extra mile to accommodate our small group. Highly recommended! We will definitely make a reservation next time and look forward to returning.
What a wonderful experience! The location within the abbey is stunning, and there are plenty of walking, cycling, and Segway trails nearby. The food and coffee are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning!
