Once again a fantastic stay . a house that feels like home, a great place to meet family and friends. bedding so comfortable with private bathroom. fantastic kitchen and beautiful separate dining area.
This is a great traditional Scottish villa in the heart of the trossachs. a great location near the river, the mountain and 30 minutes walk from the hole. great for a quiet retreat or those who focus on something more active and free. it is removed, but accessible to the national park, ending and hole lomond.
We arrived here while we hike the rob roy way. we received a offer of harbour in the lounge. our room was beautiful, at the front of the house, which looked out on the hills we just walked through. The large bathroom had a bath with a bottle something to calm our muscles. we've stuffed our tee and ate our cookies before we take one. the renter was wonderful to chat and she led us to the most reliable dinner in the city. She cooked us a nice breakfast in the morning. the way starts right behind her place, and even if they don't wander, we would strongly recommend taking a walk back tomorrow, as the only thing that was missing from the mossy green was a drachen or unicorn.
What a great B B, it is rare these days to find such amazing hosts as Colin Sherridan, they are so welcoming and really made our stay extra special with their hospitality. The Bedrooms are spacious, beds are comfy and bathroom has everything you need. Lovely comfy recliner chairs was a bonus as was the amazing view from our bedroom window. It is that good we booked to come again in April, I recommend that you book Airlie House as their is no better B B.
