Akita Japanese Steak House - Fairfield

FANTASTIC HIBACHI Very light and tasty and was worth every dime. The in house dressing and dips were the best and complemented the food very well. This place would be perfect for business meetings, family gatherings, or a great date. I found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The atmosphere changes throughout and the large aquariums were pretty cool. Total time spent here was approx 45 minutes and we were not rushed. The missing star is due to cleanliness. The grill itself and the counters were spotless, however there were some neglected areas that most people wouldnt see. Like between the grill top and counter, corner areas on the floor, etc etc etc Overall, i would go there again and would recommend this place to others.

Amazing sushi, the love boat comes garnished very decoratively. Good service and a delicious night out with my fiancee.

Fast and friendly service (although I was there early) reasonably priced with great food.

We absolutely adore Akita! The staff is consistently friendly and upbeat, making each visit a pleasure. The food is always fresh and delicious. My husband and I make it a point to try something new from the menu every time we come in, and we’re never let down! The owner is incredibly welcoming and goes out of their way to ensure that every guest has a wonderful experience and is satisfied with their meal. We are big fans of sushi, and Akita truly stands out—it’s the Ferrari of sushi! There's nothing else like it around!
