Bidra med feedbackI recently had lunch at Tsunami Sushi for the fourth time. I began with a tasty miso soup, followed by a bento box containing Korean-style beef bulgogi, 4 pieces of shrimp/tempura potato slices with tentsuyu dipping sauce, 3 pieces of sushi, white rice, and a crispy salad with a light ginger dressing. The meal felt like a journey through East Asian flavors, and it definitely left me satisfied.
I agree with everyone who claims this to be a local gem. Absolutely wonderful. Exceptional service and extremely fresh sushi. Their combinations are well thought out and flavorful. The presentation is masterful and I highly recommend the gyoza which is done with a tempura and simply delicious.
We tried this place because it’s a close to where we were staying, and it was.. okayWas expecting more honestly. Food was average, and a bit overpriced.
Food is pretty good dining in, but delivery was horrible. It looked like a toddler made the sushi, large, thick, odd cuts of fish with small amounts of rice, sloppy California rolls that tasted awful. The sushi was put into a box that was too large and by the time it got to the house the box had been shaken up and all the sushi had been smashed and disassembled. There’s a reason why sushi is packed tightly in a box. The fried rice was bland and dry. Miso soup tasted packaged and super salty. The salad dressing was thick, tasteless and gross. All the other food was meh at best. Order from Lee’s instead, only ordered from here because Lee’s was closed. So, due to this experience, we won’t be ordering takeout or dining in again. What a waste of $120.
The sushi and sashimi meat here were very good quality. Box D lunch special was a great deal, definitely will come here again.Food: 5/5
