The Local - Fairbanks

Ordered after 10 mins, waited for an hour. My order was entirely forgotten. I don’t think I need to go on further than this…

Rude bar tender and kitchen is closed most of the day, said cook shows up at 7 pm. Sign said to see bar tender to order food but he seemed to be irritated that I wanted to order food and this is the only restaurant in the airport

Absolutely terrible customer service clearly not enough staff working. Took 45 min for anyone to take our order and tables were filthy and dirty. Quite embarrassing I’ll be eating Skittles from the gift shop next time.

I am hoping that the lady behind the bar was just having a bad day. We are here testing IPA's of NA for a new travel book and she was extremely rude when I was asking which beers were available- but, like I said maybe she is having a bad day ‍ Other than that the food and beer was great!

Decent beers on tap, decent looking food on the menu, horribly under-staffed. There was a single person working both the bar and the tables when I was there. The customers were angry and upset because of this. To the server's credit, she handled it very well and continued to give the best service she could. I love the large windows in this area. I think this is the only place to eat in the Fairbanks airport, unless you count Starbucks.
