Butter Spice (previously Mahal Indian Cuisine)

First off, this place was amazing. It started a warm greeting from the gentlemen is the restaurant. Then the service was great. The food was flavorful and there was plenty of it. The appetizer was different but delicious. The wife's Butter Lamb Curry was spot on with no heat, as requested. Mine was the Lamb Tikka Marsala w/ a touch of heat. The Garlic Naan was awesome too. Then we finished with a dessert that was out of our norm. The Gulab Jamun was very good. Thank you Irfan for the great service and we'll be coming back soon.

This small, unassuming resturant offers some of the best Pakistani/Indian food I have had in Washington. The meat is Halal, and there is a small kids menu! A group of 6 of us went, and we had 7 dishes, appetizer, and dessert. The food is authentic and extremely tasty. They also offer spiciness levels of low, medium, and spicy. Will be back soon!

The food is so so delicious. I will definitely be back. I ordered the Mushroom Masala, which was incredible and full of flavor. The samosas are probably the best I’ve ever had. Our server was very polite and the staff seems very hard working. 11/10 recommend!

Ordered online and someone from the restaurant called to confirm my dairy and peanut allergies. They told me the naan would not be okay for me but the rest of my order was totally safe. The food hasn't arrived yet but I really appreciate the call and it potentially saved my life!!
