Cavanaugh's - Evansville

He brought our son here for his birthday. Everything went as planned. Service and food were good. The lady in the glittering tip was extra attentive. Had a good time.

We've been going to Cavanaughs for about 10 years. We are never disappointed and the food is always great. I think they have one of the best steaks in town.

The food was great, I ordered the main rib, it was properly prepared, I ask for med rare, and I got what I asked. All other secondary dishes were also very delicious.

Well, the server did not come by for a long time. Once we got our food, my steak was pretty good and so was my boyfriend’s prime rib but my Parmesan herb mashed potatoes were completely cold and his baked potato was Luke warm. We sat there for a while with empty glasses. We have ate here a few times but this was not one of the better times

The prime rib was the worst steak I have ever had! No seasoning! It was grey in color and had more fat than meat. The whole table moved when I try to cut with knife. The au gratin potatoes tasted as if they came from box and popped in microwave to melt cheese. The Brussels sprout weren’t cooked all the way and had no flavor
