The Barn - Evanston

Food was great, amazing steaks. But what really made the night was the fantastic service from beginning to end. Our server, Luke, was a warm, helpful, friendly server. A great experience was had because of him.

The Barn is beautifully decorated with a warm and rustic yet chic atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which included the delicious Tomato Tart, Pot Pie, and Roasted Root Vegetables paired with a Pinot Gris. I can't wait to come back to try the crab appetizer and steak! The restaurant had a bustling atmosphere, but it wasn't overly noisy, which was a pleasant surprise.

We had a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner at this restaurant. Our waiter, Yousef, was incredibly helpful and guided us through a top-notch dining experience. It was great to have a waiter who was truly dedicated to ensuring we had an amazing meal. We started with a table-side prepared salad, which was excellent. The bone-in ribeyes were full of flavor, and the macaroni and cheese on the side was also fantastic. Our friend thoroughly enjoyed her pork chop, and our desserts (cheesecake and creme brulee) were just awesome. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the dining scene in Evanston!

Had my birthday dinner at The Barn and my boyfriend could not have picked a better place! The food was amazing, the wine picked out by Som Jeff Davis was spot on and all of the staff were extremely professional, personable and worked together as team. The terrine was delicious as were the branzino and pork chop. AND the chocolate mousse dessert...nom nom nom!! I cannot wait to go back!
