Bidra med feedbackThe DP falafel was very good. Next time I'll pass on the fries. I should have placed the order online. I ordered in person and it took about 35 minutes to get the food.
We like to eat here. The service is friendly, the food is good (especially the Big Fat Greek Pita... I like the chicken), the beer is good, and they are great with children and furry friends (they even have dogs treats and water bowls).
The lady who took my order over the phone was super brilliant, so 5 stars for customer service! But the food gets only 3 stars. Ordnete the gyro, garlicries, and the medi bowl with chicken. Garlic friries have a strange burning to taste to them. You get a lot for the order, but I'm not a fan of them. The gyro has a lot of taziki sauce on it and the Pita bread is not so soft. The Taziki sauce tastes like a yogurt. Medi bowl is filled and seems to be the best plate we have ordered. My first time I'm trying here, and unfortunately it'll be my last.
I?ve been here 4 times. There is only one person working the front of the house ever, so DONT come here if you want to be greeted, fast service or any hospitality whatsoever. My to-go orders were late, not sure why it takes 1 hour for a sandwich. My ketchup was put into the container with no lid, and when I asked for one, the woman almost rolled her eyes before just handing me a lid and walking away. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?!?! The word doesn?t exist here. The only redeeming value is the food, but that?s not going to make up for the foul experiences.
I'm not sure why it took me so long to try this place, its pretty amazing. I have to come back and sample the Greek food, this time, on a recommendation, I came for the Reuben. I try Reubens all over the area, some around here are passable, some are awful.. At the Tradewinds they are nothing short of amazing! Sure, were not in New York, I've no idea what they are like there, but for Oregon the Ruebens at this place are absolutely wonderful! Came with fries, which were hot, and yummy as well! I grew up buying sodas, beer and cigs at Jiffymart, long before the chain convenience stores moved in, so the location was familiar and comfortable. I am going back and trying more stuff, but it will be difficult not to order the Reuben again..
