Bidra med feedbackI feel so lucky we have Bali Kitchen —traditional Indonesian food right here in Eugene! I usually get a noodle dish with veggies and an egg. I find that at some places the noodles can be too greasy, but here it is not so, the noodles are cooked perfectly with plenty of flavor. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the creation and preparation of the food. Overall, highly recommend.
A friend brought me some takeout from Bali Kitchen and picked dup the Tumeric rice. So tasty!! Loaded with chicken and some fresh veggies and an egg. It's two meals in one, great portion sizes!
If you love spicy food, this place is a MUST! I found it through a google search for the spiciest food in eugene, which led to a relevant reddit post. The owner of Bali mentioned there that they can make stuff extremely spicy if requested, so I decided to give it a try and go for the full level 10 spice. It was amazing, definitely one of the hottest dishes in eugene, while still being full of flavor. I was so impressed, that I ordered it again the very next day. The Nasi Goreng Sambal is what I ordered, and loved it. When I get my weekly itch for something extremely spicy, I'll be going here from now on. Maybe i can even convince them to go past level 10, haha!
I got spicy egg fried noodles and it was delicious! Their spice level is 0-3, so I ordered a 1 to be cautious and it was perfect. I definitely can't handle much more than that, so I loved that even for a spicy dish they still had a variety of options.
Tonight is the 2nd time my boyfriend and I have had Bali Kitchen in the same week. We decided to try something different on my birthday (Jan 28th) I'm so glad we did! The food is phenomenal! We got a #3 with chicken and beef, as well as a #6 with beef a side of potstickers. No spiciness on ours. The peanut sauce is amazing! This is truly an awesome food cart, with great food and good people! I don't ever really review places, but Bali Kitchen is worth it! This is a new found favorite of ours! ?
