Bidra med feedbackLocated between The Esplanade and Dempster Street, the village is a charming destination worth visiting. While the buildings outside are authentic and each has its own sign and date, the interiors have been updated to serve as gift shops and a café. My personal favorite is ESP, which offers a stunning selection of shoes, bags, cards, and gifts. The village also hosts a market every other Sunday. There's plenty of parking available, both on the road and off.
I had a wonderful lunch at the French Café. Afterward, I strolled through the museum village, which is filled with charming and intriguing shops. As a tourist, I found the vendors to be very friendly, and each store offered unique items. I highly recommend visiting this lovely place. While chatting with the owner of ESP, she informed me about the markets they hold on Sunday mornings. I’ll definitely be checking those out before heading to Hopetoun, another hidden gem on the south coast of Western Australia.
I visited the Museum Village Cafe on market day, and I had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional; the staff were helpful and friendly. Our food arrived quickly after we placed our order, and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place!
Do yourself a favour go into everyone of the shops, especially the Bookstore. I loved wandering from quaint building to older still building. From giftware to clothes, books, homewares, beautiful smelling soaps, candles oils plus beachy stuff souvenirs.
Quite nice coffee and the food I had was pretty good
