Brooke, was amazing. She had such great customer service skills at age 16. I’m very impressed. She’s a homeschooler and it’s a small business and it really hurt my feelings that somebody would break in to a small business and take from them then while we were down there I found out someone else was shoving stuff in their pockets and taking stuff the day before, what I have to say for that is go get a job. They had to work for their business and provide for their family and here someone is taken from them. I hope they catch the people. Pillow puffs melt in your mouth literally they are delicious. The tarts oh my gosh, my friend help me pick these out, and I was like no I am so happy I got them. They were huge hit at my Women of Faith group yesterday. We all loved them. Thank you so much, Brooke Dutch letter, was scrumptious it had more filling in it than any other one I’ve ever had. The ladies and I are thinking about coming down on a Thursday for the farmers market and visiting you also to get some more good treats. We just got a plan for what Thursday.

Great place, made baby shower cookies for us that turned out great and very delicious!

Updated July 2024: I wanted to take a moment to revise my review from several years ago. Nans has changed ownership recently and most of my complaints no longer apply. The redesigned space is much more open and welcoming, there's no more angry signs, the workers have all been very kind and helpful. I'll leave my previous review below in case anyone had a similar experience before and will be happy to see things have changed for the better. Previous review: The treats here are nothing special, you could make better stuff yourself, its just convenient when your kid wants a cookie while you walk around Valley Junction. The owner is extremely rude, and you can tell by all the passive aggressive little post-its all over the store they really hate children, so why they run a candy shop is beyond me. I think its time for this little shop to retire

Great selection of treats and especially enjoyed the cookies. Service is polished and friendly.

Stopped on a whim. Nice little shop with yummy sweets and a small collection of gifts. I highly recommend this place for fresh sweets.
