Bidra med feedbackMe and my friend had to choose between the nearby restaurants inside the mall as we waited first before watching a movie. Luckily, we found this place enticing and budget friendly. I ordered Spicy Cumin Chicken and the portion was surprisingly plateful. It tasted good with mushroom and the chicken served was very tender. The crew were nice and soft spoken. Since it was my first time here I was a bit surprised by the service charge, but it's very minimal.
We looked for this place being pizza addicts. When we saw the restaurant, we got a cheerful welcome from one of the service crew. It's a simple, clean and convenient place! My sister and I tried the Queen Julie Pizza because we believed it was "healthier" as it had more veggies in it. This pizza had tomato sauce, three kinds of cheeses - mozzarella, Parmesan and cheddar, pepper, olives, mushroom, oven dried tomatoes, and capers. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Aglio Olio that was an olive oil and garlic-based pasta with marinated grilled chicken while my sister ordered the Tomato Mushroom Pasta, a marinara-based pasta with garlic, basil, tomato and mushroom slices. We ate while listening to music of the 80s. It was cool listening to Boy George, Madonna, George Michael, Kenny Rogers (oops!) The pasta and the pizza we ordered were delicious and not to mention rather affordable. It was so worth the search! We'll dine here again, that's for sure!
Upsides: - Budget meals - 80s pop music Downsides: - Doesn't accept credit cards -- what century are we in again? When we received the bill it clearly said VISA on it. Inconvenient at best. - Strange interior design. Trying too hard to give an 80's American diner vibe. Why bother naming the place "Mad - Music is obnoxiously loud. Good luck keeping up a conversation. - A pizza place with the pizzas at the back of the menu. Has nobody noticed that? Awful menu design. - Only a solo pizza size but nothing larger. - BBQ pizza was too sweet. Should've just called it "sweet chicken pizza". Would not come back again.
We just find the mall so full that you don't want to dine in an over crowded location. And we found you. I know we should order for pizza but I am actually craving for a different dish right now. So, we ordered for Chicken Alfredo, Mushroom Chicken Melt and the crusted fish parmigiana. I forgot their names actually =) Verdict... it was actually good. I love the chicken with the mushroom sauce and the cheese, it was really perfect for my taste. Not too strong, but flavorful. The pasta was really good, a little spicy though but spicy good, I could order for another round if time permits. And the crusted fish parmigiana, a little spicy again, but okay.. To sum it up, I love the 2 dishes, it was fabulous. kudos guys! I will try the pizza and the jack daniel thingy next time. Promise.. I'll be back... see yah
