Bidra med feedbackWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Persia. The food was fantastic. We spent a wonderful evening as a family sitting in the beer garden and enjoying the great food, sharing a large platter as a starter, followed by generous portions of mains. It was all very tasty.
Ate here with 3 people and we’ll all thought the food was great. Meat kebabs of all variants, well cooked and flavoursome. Good service and reasonably priced.
Restaurant PERSIA Drausnickstr. Tel. (09131) 940 89 36 The PERSIA, which was opened 2 years ago, is located just outside the very modest city of Erlangen in a district that is actually to be considered a residential area. Situated opposite the St. Mark's Church, the restaurant has a small paved parking space and a well maintained beer garden with large shaded trees. We chose the beer garden, where we were also welcomed by a friendly Persian. And since it was almost 3 p.m., we could choose one of the free tables. In addition to the usual banal lemonade drinks for the simple minds, daughters ordered a fresh lemonade and I chose an ice-cold dough. This is a mint-flavoured yogurt drink. Although it was clear to me that I would not create my main dish, I could not deny it as an appetizer Kashke Bademjan at €6.50. These are chopped and fried eggplants with a hint of garlic, peppermint bean onions and yogurt sauce. There was a basket with real oriental bread, thin like parchment paper and indescribably good in taste. Of course, everyone had to try and it was born general enthusiasm, under which my share of this tasty appetizer melted considerably. As a main dish, I ordered Kababab Kubide, i.e. 2 large spits with finely seasoned minced meat from beef and lamb, served with grilltomate, butter and basmati rice. The dishes for our table all came simultaneously and were arranged very appealing on the square plates. Gatti, daughters and friend had opted for grilled, hauchzarte lamb fillets or refined marinated chicken breast fillets and were therefore also very satisfied. Me, the minced meats were decided too rich. The very good rice with saffron, the large grilled tomatoes and the even larger grilled peperoni could no longer compensate for this disadvantage. In addition, the mint in my dough concentrated with the time in the lower part of the glass, which made from the initially very refreshing drink an unpleasantly strongly tasted mint, almost inedible drink for me. Since I had not eaten everything but also something with the good and plentiful appetizer, the very attentive service offered us a Persian mocha or saffron tea at the expense of the house. We liked to take this offer, choosing the black tea with Kardamon. Strong and with lots of sugar and for me memory of earlier times. It would have made me feel like Khorma Gerdou – after heavenly dates, filled with walnut kernels and coconut flakes. But the dessert had to fail because daughters already had cakes and cakes for coffee. Restaurant PERSIA has a large menu with a rich selection. The prices are already somewhat in the upper range, but pomegranate sauce with fried walnut kernels, basmati saffron rice, ocraschotes and fried berberitzen, falude and shole zard presumably justify prices. For all lovers of genuine oriental cuisine it can be highly recommended despite the criticism of the food chosen by me.
Dinner picked up on Sunday. Everything as desired, including greeting from the kitchen fine thing, thanks for the service. Everything deliciously recommended...
We had food to pick up there. It was very tasty and unique. Completely different tastes but recommended for all those seeking a new culinary experience! Service was friendly. Pickup time that was specified before has been perfectly matched.
