When I say going, I say that tongue in cheek because over the years it changed management more times than I have had a kebab, and some of those were pretty dire to say the least. So it seems to be under new management again , but the good news is Kebab is par excellent, particularly when you note the freshness of the salad, (not easy in these times). Price is very competitive , and no I am not some josh begging a freeby, just call it as I find, and this sector of economy certainly needs a boost.
Absolutely disguisting. Never had to write a review before. Ordered and paid for food and delivery. Never turned up and unable to get through to takeaway. Unbelievable!
I ordered from Midland road kebabs on Sunday evening at 10:02pm with an ETA of 10:50. The food arrived half an hour late after I had to call the restaurant to ask where it was. The wrap we ordered was very poor quality with no meat in the wrap, expect the wrap was screwed up in the middle of the paper. The fried chicken and chips were greasy and very unappetising. I am very unhappy with this service and quality of food therefore I feel further action needs to be taken in regards to this as to be honest I feel I have completely wasted my money. Me and my partner will now have to wait another hour for food we have had to spend more money on.
We ordered a takeaway on Sunday night at 8pm. We were told it would take one hour to arrive. At 9:30pm we tried to call back to see where our order was and we were unable to get through. We tried calling over 30 times over the next hour with no response and we never received the food nor a phone call to explain why they chose not to deliver the order.
I ordered the Donner meat on a nan with a side order of chips, the delivery was approximately an hour as expected. When my order arrived I opened the kebab to find a long dark hair. (My hair is short and blonde) i contacted the shop and they asked if I was able to keep the delivery with the hair remaining and they’ll exchange. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt to rectify. I waited a further 45 minutes (which I didn’t expect, as it was a complaint) I phoned again and the man explain the order was on its way, with me waiting 45 mins I asked if the side order of chip would come fresh as this was part of a meal. He conformed and said “yes sir”. The delivery eventually turned up but was surprised to find no fresh chips and just a cold kebab. At this point I didn’t want the food but was f off for the way they treat their customers that actually give them the benefit of the doubt. The man accused me of lying and even admitted that the customer service they give isn’t good enough which says it all. I could understand if I was asking for money or freebies but none of that was mentioned because that wasn’t what I wanted. Avoid this takeaway shop!
