Taj on High Indian Restaurant - Epping

Friendly service, the waitress explained each plate and its ingredients. Really delicious Indian meal. The $30 pp banquet is good value! The restaurant is very spacious.

We ordered Malai kofta. It is authentic indian dish which is made with cottage cheese, potato and mix of chopped dry fruits and raisin. To my surprice there was no fruits and nuts noted. Only a dollop of 2 potatao koftas. This equated to $7 for each potato ball. When i have shown it to the staff member she wouldn't say anything and there was no words mention to replace the food. The food was not worth paying at all. Will never go back again.

A good clean place with good ambience, but the food is really average. Paneer lababdar is mentioned as a special but was an utter disappointment. The lachha parantha was lifeless and chana masala lacklustre.

We went for New Years Eve early supper, having wanting to try this restaurant for a while. It came highly recommended. The servers were very polite and knew the menu well. We ordered one chicken, one veg and one beef choice. The flavors were complex and amazing ! Our three year old kept asking for more and more of the peppery, creamy chicken dish and gobbled down the rice and nan. Everything was great ! We will be back for more - family friendly, extensive menu and great service. Please note - not open for lunch.

Went for dinner on reccomendation of partners's friend. Made a reservation for two. Modern clean setting different to most indian resteraunts. We were given a table near the door we ordered the Fish and the the eggplant dish. Both tasteed the same. The only difference being the main ingredient. Average at best. We ordered spicy and got spicy. So for the brave ones, you should order 6 out if 10 on their "hot" scale.The laccha roti was not as layed as compared to other places. A fly came and sat on the roti. When we complained to waiter about it. He did not care. Just cleared the plate without asking whether we should get a new plate or not. Overall. Highly priced, average food and poor service with an attitude. There are many other places where you can get value and treated better
