The New Inn - Epping Forest

My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday with 8 adults and 2 children. The service was friendly and professional. The food was fresh and delicious, obviously homemade with high-quality ingredients. The fresh vegetables were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

I accidentally hit my head on the ceiling, but that was probably more my fault or my parents' fault than the pub's! Despite that, it was a lovely little bar with a nice outdoor seating area.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon based on a friend's recommendation and I was not let down. The quaint, traditional pub was very charming with friendly and hospitable staff. My wife had the prawn sandwich and I had the beef and stilton sandwich, both on brown bread. They were absolutely delicious and we will definitely be returning for more. Just a heads up for those interested in dining here, the restaurant only serves food from Wednesday to Saturday, between 12:00 and 14:00.

The perfect pub! We broke a journey here on the strength of the Good Beer Guide entry and were delighted that we did. Food and beer were excellent and the service superb. The friendly, welcoming staff and locals made us very welcome, and the landlord and landlady treated us like regulars. All that and the decor is great and the pub has a thatched roof!
