Bidra med feedbackWe were in Ireland for 12 days and stopped in Ennis for the afternoon.. This is the most memorable restaurant we visited on our entire trip. We had the seafood bake, which was the best food we had in Ireland. The town was amazing as well, be to set aside a few hours to shop and then stop in at this little restaurant a bit off of the beaten track for lunch.
Very disappointing dinner experience. This wine bar/Bistro is pricey but has neither food nor service to match. Thanks to the owner for the reply. I am in the top 10% of Google reviewers with almost 700 reviews and give accurate feedback on my experiences. Most of my reviews are positive. But I will critique a businesses where there is an obvious price/product/service mismatch. Your reply to my review strikes me as being an offensive road rage type of response and prospective customers can decide for themselves whether to believe an impartial reviewer or yourself. P.S. I did not order the Mushroom Risotto and I did leave a tip.
Awful awful awful.. dont be a vegetarian here. Stuffed pepper equals carrots and some sort of potato and mushroom in an overcooked soggy pepper. Dont get the good reviews. Just wasted 60 euro. My 10 euro a glass red wine served in white wine glass cause it had a measure line. Thank you to the restaurant for their reply based on incorrect second hand information and it seems they believe a personal attack on a paying customer is the way forward. if you looked at my profile you would clearly see that I am a regular reviewer and that I generally write positive reviews of restaurants all over the world, therefore all I can assume is that you know I was right.
Henry's was recommended by Lucinda O'Sullivan of the Sunday times as one of the best 100 restaurants in the country, so had to give it a try. It didn't disappoint the food was really good, black pudding and potatoe croquettes, mushrooms on brioche toast, pork belly on creamy mash with a delicious red wine jus. And very nice to see the owner visit every table to see how we were and have a chat, don't see much of that anymore. Henry's has been doing great business in Ennis for some time now with good reason and long may it last. Highly recommended.
Had the joy of having lunch here while stopping in Ennis and it was 10/10 … the staff were amazing and the food was so fresh and delicious!! My kids had the fish and chips off the kids menu and even that was a lovely fresh piece of fish with hand cut chips! Very good value for money and spotlessly clean! We will absolutely be returning next time we’re in Ennis and would highly recommend anyone looking for a nice place to eat!
