Im one of Mario's friends from the gym, and I agree with Mario. Even though I love the pastries, I'll have too stand by my friend Mario with his review.

Got a lasagna, it was cold. my server had it warmed up, it was only slightly warm after. my server was great! she did her best to improve my visit, even offered me a dessert. the only reason i 'm leaving a negative review is because the chef came out to the dining room and was extremely passive aggressive towards me for 'not liking my food ' and he did what he could to 'please me ' shoutout to my server for doing her best, but the chef is an absolute terrible employee. not good with people and can 't even do his job correctly :

I LOVE this restaurant! We have been there 2 times, now. The 1st time we ordered wrong but still freaking awesome. The 2nd time was a ridiculously delicious experience. The Sausage Canneloni (sp) was perfect. You only need one if you are a two top. The Italian dressing for my salad was so flavorful and perfect. For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Masala and the bolognese. Can I just say, after years of rubbery chicken marsala, this dish was over the top amazing. The chicken was tender and and the combination with the fettuccine Alfredo made this divine. The bolognese was fabulous. Just everything. Oh, and the veal piccota(1st visit) also sublime. This restaurant is like walking out of black and white film into color. And to top it off, the service is also amazing. We had Linda the second time, and she had the best personality and took great care of us. I don't usually write such a long review, but I felt moved to do so. It is Italian inspiration. Came here with my wife and our baby. First had to wait 5 minutes by the front of the restaurant to be seated. The restaurant was NOT busy at all. When we were finally seated we waited an additional 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to come and address us. Nobody ever came up to us, but we did see the servers were all standing in a corner talking to each other or on their phones, not a care in the world for their patrons. Again, restaurant was not busy at all. They didn’t even offer to bring us a high chair. After 15-20 minutes of waiting we got up and left; unsurprisingly the careless staff didn’t say a word when we got up, it’s like they’re completely oblivious or something. Super disappointing experience based on the horrible service we received. Also a very gross smelling, grimy, dim, and just “icky” environment for an Italian sit down restaurant. Smelled like cleaning supplies, probably not safe at all. 10/10 would NOT recommend, go across the street to ZOMO, Brewability, or One Barrel for MUCH better food and service.
