Shake Shack - Encino

I tried this place as a yelper wrote just as good as in

I had a discouraging experience at this restaurant due to the behavior of the manager, who displayed racist tendencies. A large white woman profiled me when I entered, treating me as if I didn't belong there. I came in during the day, dressed in work clothes as a professional artist, and felt unjustly judged because of my appearance. If you are Caucasian, it seems you will be treated warmly here, but I would not recommend this place if you want to avoid racial profiling.

I ended up trying a very greasy and tasteless hamburger, which had an oily ring around it and tasted like it was fried in old, rancid oil. The cheese was also greasy and devoid of flavor, almost as if it had been thrown in at the last minute. I managed to take only three bites before tossing it in the trash. The burger was nearly $14, and it was simply inedible. I definitely won’t be returning. There are probably dozens of better burger places within a mile and a half. Management should consider relocating; Shake Shack in Encino was a letdown on every level. On a positive note, the building itself looked quite inviting.

I love shake and my mother too! we ran a few orders and I thought I would treat my mother to the shroomin burger, which is her favorite. never before been at this place and it feels a little tricky for the first time, as it is part of a center that can lead them underground for parking. (depending on which tram you choose) we have found out where we can park and drive past lunch! during this trip I taught my mother how to use the touch pad kiosk, and she did great! I wanted to test them as she is a 87-year-old woman who received an ipad to visit kirchengebets every day over zoom because of the pandemic. she learned how to navigate for the church and I thought she could make it a lunch myself! We visited yesterday for the first time and we will be back. The burger, fries, and shake were very good. What has us hooked was the customer service. Denise took our order which included my allergy concerns. Her and other servers went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction to any item we ordered. Manager, you should be proud! That was customer care I haven't seen in California. Bonus was the good food. Thank you!
