Pizza Inn - Emerald Isle

I've been getting pizza from this place for over five years now, and I'm consistently amazed by how delicious it is and how nice the staff are. I've read some negative reviews, and based on my frequent visits, I can say that those reviewers were likely either rude to the staff or maybe just had an occasional mix-up with their orders, which can happen to anyone. This is a gas station with a small kitchen and just one oven, so they can only make a limited number of pizzas at a time, especially during busy hours when there are lots of customers enjoying their time on the island. If you go when it's crowded, expect to wait a bit for your pizza; that's just how it is. However, if you go in with respect for the hardworking staff (which they absolutely deserve) and a little patience during the rush, I promise you that everything you order will be fantastic. This is truly my favorite pizza chain in the world, and I always look forward to visiting!

I ordered a made-to-order pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the Asian chili bone-in wings, and they were incredibly tasty! The cashier was fantastic, and the other staff members were friendly and helpful as well. They offer a variety of items, including gas, ice, beer, pizza, subs, wings, Corona, Modelo, Twisted Tea in various flavors, Bootleggers, candy, chips, and pretty much everything you'd expect to find in a convenience store.

My son really enjoyed the chocolate chip pizza, but I wasn't a fan of it.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service. I called to place an order for a pizza, but they were out of several standard toppings. The person on the phone was quite rude and acted like it was my fault for ordering a taco pizza. To make matters worse, he hung up on me. It was very disrespectful and completely unnecessary.

The current staff is fantastic! I've been ordering the individual pepperoni pizza every weekend during work, and it has become the best pizza on the island—much better than in previous years (especially compared to their pizza, cheeseburger, and taco pizza). Last weekend, they went above and beyond to assist customers even after being closed for 30 minutes. The employees are incredibly friendly, especially the guy with long brown hair. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. Most of the recent negative reviews probably stem from people expecting more from a small store in a gas station or from those who tried ordering a pizza with chocolate chips.
