Don Pollo Y Mas - Elx

We stopped off with our 10 month old baby for a bite to eat before our flight. The staff were all so friendly and the food was tasty...and cheap! We had a beer, wine, water, croquettes, egg salad and ultimate burger and the bill came to 20 Euros. The stafy entertained our little one and gave us some chocolates with the bill.

We arrived early in the evening when the restaurant was quiet. We were given an exceptionally warm welcome and seated quickly. Excellent value drinks flowed and service was swift. The menu is basic, but don’t be put off. We ordered half chicken, chicken escalope and burger, with a huge mixed salad. Shortly after ordering, we were given complimentary tapas to share and the mains came shortly afterwards. It was hot, tasty, juicy and succulent! Some of the best chicken we’d ever tasted!! The burger was flamed grilled to perfection! All our meals were complimented with home made Chimichurri dressing, it was so tasty! Both staff were attentive and continually checked on our satisfaction. They could not do enough for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal this evening and can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It was outstanding and great value for money! We can’t wait to return!!

Torrellano is a small inbred town in Spain. But Don Pollo and their sauces are incredible. Visit visit visit. A gem of a bar.
