O Golo - Elvas

At this place they offer a menu and they really want you to have it. It includes the bread, a main, a dessert and a drink. It costs 15€ at lunch on week days and 16€ for dinner and on weekends. We ordered individual dishes. We also had a bottled wine. There were no prices for the wine bottles. The food was average. We wanted to pay with card and the man said that they were having trouble with the connection (I’ve read it in previous comments as well). No receipt and he didn’t ask if we wanted one. Typical in tax evading places. In the end, we paid 40€ for very average food. I don’t recommend this place at all. Inside Elvas there are awesome places. Go to Adega, O Lagar or Acontece. So much better!

Restaurante de comida típica portuguesa. No solamente tiene un encanto excepcional, si no que tambien tiene una atencion excelente. La comida por otra parte es maravillosa, recomiendo sobre todo el frango asado y el arroz con sapateira. Si visitas elvas recomiendo altamente.
