Bidra med feedbackThere are many restaurants and cafes in Warrandyte and having returned to this one after many years, I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. Located on the east side of the shopping area, set back from the road, FFAS has an extensive menu that frankly, I didn’t know what to choose because it all looked so great. In the end I had a chicken Caesar salad and my daughter had a chunky beef pie with salad and wedges. The portion sizes were fabulous and extremely generous. Taste excellent. And a note that the side salad wasn’t just lettuce and a slice of cucumber it had beetroot, tomato, carrot and mushroom. You don’t see that every day. What stood out for me though was the staff and their interaction with customers. Genuine. Thoughtful. Efficient. Good old fashioned customer service. You can dine indoors or out under the large brollies either is nice. We will return. Notes: wheelchair friendly (there was actually a diner in a wheelchair so I know it’s accessibility), toilets available but not wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking it the front or across the road on the river side.
This restaurant serves one of the best smashed avocado dishes I've ever had. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced and topped off with a delicious balsamic glaze. The spot overlooks the Yarra River, adding to the great dining experience. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 for portion size, flavor, and price.

Great coffee and delicious food. Very reasonably priced compared to nearby cafes. We had the quiche and scones and they were great. Highly recommended if in the area.
