My wife and I took a cake decorating class here. The cake is super delicious, larger than expected, and super well prepared! We learned several icing techniques, basic fondant use for pumpkins, and little flowers. Everything was provided, and explained/demonstrated at our pace to ensure we had fun making the designs our own. Perfect balance of accessibility for beginners and a satisfyingly complete design, so folks of all skill levels can learn something while creating a treat that looks nice.

I placed a custom cupcake order on Wednesday via FB to April, the owner, for an event I had this past Sunday. I confirmed details and a pickup time with her for Sunday morning, as she stated she wouldn't be available Saturday due to another commitment. I showed up Sunday morning, two hours before my event, and messaged her with no response. I tried calling her on FB, and even though messenger showed her as active, she didn't respond. After calling again and trying the number of the cafe, I had to give up and run to the grocery store to by some stock cupcakes. I felt awful not being able to deliver on my assignment for the event. It is now Monday evening and she has not even given me the courtesy of a response. No apology or explanation. Be very cautious using this business and make sure to have a backup plan in case she decides to ghost you.

Excellent bakery. I ordered a custom cake, white layer, chocolate layer, raspberry filling, with a thinner butter icing perfection! The balance of cake to icing, with the raspberry filling provided enough sweetness to satisfy a sweet tooth, yet not so much that the butter cream overwhelmed the other flavors.Sugar cookies just like homemade :)Also, friendly and helpful service.

Was trying to find a place to make gluten free cookies for my daughters birthday and they turned out not only tasting amazing but looked beautiful too!! Highly recommend Northern Wings Cafe to anyone!!

Northern Wings Cafe did such an AMAZING job on my daughters birthday cake!! Plus it was short notice! Completely turned out more amazing than the reference picture I sent, with adorable cute touches. The baby turtles and the sand just added to it! The buttercream frosting I'm a buttercream frosting SNOB cake were delicious HIGHLY recommend! I hate when cakes look spectacular but taste bland, dry and awful. I will most definitely be ordering from again.
