The Brook Bar and Bistro - ELLENBROOK

Save yourselves pain and avoid this establishment. On Wednesday, 6 friends went to The Brook for a meal. The two hosts arrived early and were shown to their reserved table. The remaining four diners arrived 10 minutes later and were told that there wasn't a booking under our nominated name. In fact, there was; it was just that they had removed the name. Some time later our hosts came looking for us.It gets better. Six steak dinners were ordered. 45 minutes later four of them arrived but two were decidedly cold. One meal was sent back with the request that it by microwaved for a minute. Nothing happened. There was no advice to say that they would replace the meal entirely. 30 minutes later the two remaining steaks arrived (that's 1 hour and 15 minutes) but the missing meal wasn't replaced. On complaining, a steak dinner magically appeared. I wonder which other diner missed out. No apology was made. Give this place a big miss. It's amateur city.

If you are looking for somewhere that serves nice food and you can take you mates, your kids or just want to have a catch up, then this is the place. Easy Parking and friendly service as well as a good menu. The waiter suggested the wine and it was lovely.

Walked in, one drink and out, boring menu and ni atmosphere, especially when two smokers are stinking out the so called beer garden, wint be back.

Amazing food, excellent music, great place, well decorated, nice people, amazing drinks, good price. We have tons of fun!

Booked in for dinner And was welcomed by friendly staff /Waitress .We ordered drinks and Meals . Waited ages for drinks to arrive and got them mixed up with another tables .... no problem )Our mains came out and started eating .. much to my amazement on the second mouthful I noticed that I had small pieces of plastic in my Rib Sauce ?? I put that to the side and then started to eat when I had more plastic in my mouth ???My partner said to me that her dinner was cold and didn't get the sauce with her meal I got a staff members attention and said My meal has plastic in it They where like scales from fish )The staff member just picked up the meal Said do you want to order another meal ?And walked away to the kitchen. . I asked why did my meal have plastic in it She replied the container must have broken..That the sauce comes in ..Yes thats it ..She said )Not only did she not apologie she said I will take the meal $38 ( which had hardly eaten ) Off the Bill The other meal that didn't get the sauce was stone cold And was taken back ??The staff member who was in charge did not offer any apologies or a meal in replacement Just do you want to buy another meal We sat there while the other family members had there dinner being eyeballed from staff at Cashier ..A male staff member eventually came out to speak to us who was very nice. Told him our food problems and he said I will take your phone number and a Manager will call you tomorrow or Monday at the Earliest WELL GUESS WHAT still waiting for a call Being a local I will leave this place alone Bad All round
