The Curry Bowl Kitchen Jamaican Food And Vegan Fast Food

I tried the oxtail last night and it was good. I just heard about the place so I was excited to try it and support the business. The rice was okay, it was a bit more white then expected. The oxtail was very flavorful and good. Some of the pieces of the meat were fall off the bones which I prefer while others were a bit hard. I was a bit disappointed with the plantain, 3 small pieces I don't even think that they add up to a 1/3 of a small plantain. Compared to other places the portion were smaller. I will go back to try other dishes and encourage the business.

This was a great find! So flavorful fresh great portions. When we come back to the area this is a for sure stop on our list. We both got the veggie plate, cabbage, chick peas, rice and beans and why of course baked Mac and cheese! As professional drivers that don?t get to have home cooked meals often we thank you for a great meal!

New to the area and with the quarintine happening I needed to feel like I was back in the islands. The smell and music when you walk in and pleasant gentleman behind the counter with friendly conversation, I felt like I was there. Went the jerk chicken route and there was alot of food. But saw the oxtail and was skeptical cause you gotta know how to cook oxtail right. Let me tell you ????. These were some of the largest and best oxtails I've ever had. Not to greasy and fall off the bone tender. I ate a little chicken, oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage Mac and cheese and get to have some leftovers tomorrow too. This place is

Highly recommend this location. The shop front was off a main road and had a nice atmosphere inside. Place was very cleanly and worker followed all proper hygiene in prepping meal. Worker was extrenely friendly and helpful in helping me choose a non spicy dish. I got the chicken curry and I wasnt disappointed. The chicken literally fell off the bone, cabbage was delicious, rice cooked just right, and mac was cheesy. Pricing was fair and would definitely choose this location again.

I?m three bites in and writing a review. If that doesn?t say enough then I?ll add to it?it was quick, you get a lot of food, and it tastes incredible. You want to eat here, trust me.
