Cubiletes Mexican Grill - Elkhart

So I normally order from this restaurant quite a bit for pick up. And it normally only takes 10 minutes for the food to be ready. Which is great. So it says they’re open till 10 PM. I called at 9:28 PM to place a pick up order. They told me that because they were slow and got slow around 8 o’clock. So started closing the kitchen down at 8:30. And it’s fully closed now they’re not making any food. Why you stay open till 10 if you’re not gonna have food when you’re a restaurant. Very unhappy with this restaurant may never ever order from them again . And I only waited to order until almost 930. Because it was for my son who doesn’t get off work till 10. And works next-door to the Restaurant.

Amazing food and great service. Repeat customer and have enjoyed all the dishes I’ve ordered. Just a friendly caution is chips have 1 refill limit then you gotta pay per basket. Never had an issue with it as the service was quick and food is filling.

This place did not live up to expectations nor the hype. I was visiting Elkhart, and my co-worker was talking this place up. I was not impressed. I honestly felt like the food was warmed up in the microwave. I ordered chicken mole, and it was rewarmed shredded chicken with mole sauce over the top of it. The refried beans were so hot they burnt the heck out of my mouth. The rice was good, along with the lemonade. Prices were fair, and the food came out pretty quick. I think that was because all the food is pre-made and rewarmed when orders are placed. I don't think I'll be going back here next time I'm in town.

Happy we stopped for dinner. Mexican sounded good for dinner and this was close. Gave it a try and happy we did. The carnitas and wet burrito were very good and generous in portion size. The menu is vast. Plan on trying many other items there soon.

Excellent food, great Margaritas and wonderful flavors!! Love the salsa! I had a Gordita and Sope!! Loved both!
